Title Text for The Unflinching Ash

The beautiful text on the cover of The Unflinching Ash was developed by the extremely talented Sarah Gauntlett. She took my sketch from the back of an envelope, and worked the concept through to development and the final cover text you see today.

She made it way better, I know.  (The illustration is the work of Kerem Beyit. It also went through many changes to reach the final wrap you see today.  A story for another day.)
